He has served Bipin Chandra Tripathi Kumaon Institute of Technology (Formely Kumaon Engineering College, Dwarahat,) Uttarakhand, (An Autonomous Institute of Uttrakahand Government ) India for more than 14 years in different capacities such as Head of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering and MCA. He was the in charge of Training & Placement and contributed to get the college accredited by companies. He has also worked as Co-ordinator TEQIP (World Bank Project).
Incharge Library, Convenor BOS, Member faculty of Engineering Member BOS, Institute Professional studies, Kumaun University, Nainital. He also conducted a National Conference as a Joint Secretary and received a grant from AICTE for his project. He has also co- ordinated the NBA accreditation process in the departments.
Joined G.L Bajaj Institute of technology and management in the year 2008 as a Director when the intake was 300 in the budding stage. Scaled to an intake of more than 1700 and Ranked among Top 3 Private Institutes in UP out of 500 colleges. Lead industry tie-ups and engagements culminating in GLBITM having an amazing placement record with every major recruiter. Spearheaded more than 900 quality research publications (Scopus Indexed) of the institute in the last 2-3 years through well planned Strategy. Responsible for NAAC accreditation process & NIRF & QS I.GAUGE rankings, Instrumental in the signing of different MOUs with Industries and Organizations and setting up of Incubation Centre (MSME), Leading the OBE practices in GLBITM from last 3 years and achieving all UG departments Accredited
He is one of the mentors from AKTU for NBA accreditation for Mentee Institutions , Instrumental In Bringing Grants for Development of facility in Institute Under UP Start-Up Policy, Conference Grants, Consultancy Contributions to Research, Course Curriculum Development and Other activities of the Institute.
He has delivered many keynote addresses, invited lectures and guest lectures, FDP, faculty analysis and review in many institutes, university and colleges. He has guided several M.Tech project thesis and three of the scholar under his guidance has been awarded Ph.D degrees, presently guiding 08 Ph.D. scholars . His current areas of research are Performance Evaluation of Wireless, Fog and Edge Networks, Medical Imaging, Inferences using AI and Learning tools, applications of wireless Communications in Patient monitoring.
He has more than 85 publications in reputed International Journals with more than 30 SCI/SCIE/SCI Journal papers International Conferences, contributed chapters along with many paper presentations in National Conferences to his credit. His works on Ultrasound Medical Imaging has been cited by many authors of international repute. Some of his papers are judged as best viewed/downloaded papers in Springer and other Journals. He is a member of editorial panel of two national journals. He has published 08 patents. He is also one of the Editor of three Springer Lecture series books and is an Editor of Book on “Computational Intelligence in Healthcare Applications” by Elsevier, Special issue editor in IGI Publication. Associate Editor : International Journal of Advances in Applied sciences,. Honorary Rosalind Member of London Journal Press, Member of Editorial Board “Journal of Health Informatics Journal, SAGE.
He is well versed with Accreditations (NBA, NAAC QS-I-Gauge) and Rankings Framework and is closely working with Industries and Organizations to enhance students Employability skills. He was member of BOS, MTU, Noida, RDC member of MTU, Noida and UPTU. Member of academic council for the year 2018-1019 AKTU. Convener of one of the BOS , member of Governing Council E- Resource Consortium AKTU. Co-coordinator E-shoot (swayam prapha) AKTU ECE group. He also serves on the Advisory Board of two Private Universities along with two startup companies. He is senior member IEEE, member EU-India Grid Community, ISTE, and World Academy of Science Engineering & Technology (WASET) and life member of ICEIT.
